English Name: Fishtail Sword fern, Weeping Sword Fern
A fast-growing, medium to large-sized tropical fern that is an evergreen perennial in warmer climate, whilst a tender perennial in colder regions. This herbaceous plant produces tufted stripes (10-25 cm long) with pinnate fronds that are broadly lanceolate. Fronds may grow to eight feet and are best displayed by planting in a large basket.
Use: The plant is used for ornamental purpose.

Care: Water a plant when the soil feels dry to touch. You should remove dead, infected or damaged plant parts. You should prune and fertilize a plant mostly in the spring season. For any insect attack or disease, you can use Neem oil, Eucalyptus oil or Citrus oil spray for primary treatment.
