Galphimia glaucais a perennial shrub native to Mexico and Central America that has been introduced in tropical and sub-tropical warm regions to be used as a medicinal and ornamental plant. Thespecies has escaped from cultivation and can be found naturalized in grasslands, disturbed sites and along roadsides.
Use: G. glaucais often cultivated as an ornamental and hedge plant, and is also used as a medicinal herb.
Height: Up to 2-3 meters.
Difficulty to Grow: Easy to grow
Care: It is very susceptible to water lopping. Trim the height of the plant and to maintain a good shape.

Soil:well-drained soils with pH 5.6 to 7.5. It does well in dry sandy soils.
